My varied educational background and experience working with children, including my own, help me to successfully tutor my students.I hold a B.A. in English with minors in history and law from Lehigh University. After my undergraduate studies, I attended Rutgers University School of Law, where I graduated with my Juris Doctor degree. My professional experience includes ten years as an attorney working in civil litigation, starting at a firm and then moving on to a solo practice.After beginning a family, I decided to put my career on hold and stay home with my five children. Eventually, I became a teaching assistant in the district where my children attended school. I found a passion for assisting students who were in need of guidance to perform to the best of their abilities. I particularly liked tutoring writing and reading, and helping students love both as much as I do. I find satisfaction in seeing my students flourish, when they originally thought they would fail. As they build confidence, they naturally begin to excel. In addition to the subjects mentioned previously, I also tutor history, geography, and social studies. I can also assist students with college essays.Aside from tutoring and taking care of my family, I am extremely active and love to play and watch various sports, including tennis, soccer, lacrosse, and swimming.
